Our Opinion

This is one of our most popular islands because although not the cheapest, it is very high quality with lovely accommodation, great food and perfect beaches. More than any other island, this gets a lot of repeat business. There is a great house reef so if you like snorkeling or diving then you're in for a treat!

Everyone is on an all-inclusive basis, and in fact most of the villas are Jacuzzi Water Villas - they are truly stunning! But there are just 74 villas in total, so it is one of the smaller islands in terms of the number of people.

These have a partial open air bathroom plus a seafacing terrace and outdoor jacuzzi in a private courtyard garden.

Cuisine

• Dhonveli is the main resaurant. This is open on all sides with bamboo shutters and all under a plam thatch, but the highlight is the fine white sand om the floor which gives you the real Maldivian experience when eating!
• The meals are served either buffet style or a la carte, however once a week a dinner buffet is held outside on the wooden deck overlooking the lagoon. Each outside dinner is a special event, in a romantic atmosphere under the stars.
• Vegetarian meals are provided on request, please inform the reception upon arrival at the resort.
• The Haruge Bar & Coffee shop is a spacious bar with a high thatched roof and comfortable seating. It has a sand floor and an outside wooden deck on the beach. Late breakfast is available from 0930-1100 and snacks are available through out the day. The coffee shop snacks service is available in the afternoon.
