This is a small and friendly island surrounded by crystal clear water and white sandy beaches. Life here is laid back luxury - each room is an individual villa or bungalow made from natural elements and stylishly furnished. For the luxury on offer, we think this is one of the best value islands in the Maldives in its class. As Baros has an excellent house reef, the snorkelling experience is fantastic. In parts, it is just 10 metres from the water's edge, so you don't have to be a diver to experience amazing marine life! They will provide the snorkelling equipment if you do not have your own. Finally, it's important to stress how friendly the staff are here. As we left the island, even after a relatively short stay, we were waved off by the staff as our boat sailed away towards Male. Deluxe Villas - 89 square metres Deluxe villas are individually thatched bungalows with a beautiful private garden bathroom. They are just a few steps from the sea with direct beach access and sun loungers. The bedrooms are spacious with teak floors, a large sofa and a veranda. In the bathroom there is a stand alone tub, and leads to a sandstone-walled flower garden with a waterfall shower.
Baros Villas - 103 square metres Baros Villas also have four-poster beds, wine chiller, terrace with daybed and a large private wooden sun deck overlooking the ocean with a sitting area and daybed.
Water Villas - 92 square metres The water villas are built on stilts over the water with panoramic sea views, total privacy and an overwater deck with steps leading down in to the sea. They feature a king size bed draped in silk and dreamy ocean views from the bathroom.
